Is it Friday again? Hurrah! It is. Time for another bunch of sweet health related links I came across this week.
- Got plans this weekend? How about a kraut party? I'm talking sauerkraut. A great guest post on Nourished Kitchen on how to have fun making sauerkraut, yeah I said fun, with links to some of her great and easy recipes included
- Something for the herb lovers out there. I posted a really great video from Michigan herbalist Jim MacDonald in my spring nettles post back in April, and the Mountain Rose blog has released another video from that same conference this time on the cardiotonic or in his words, tropho-restorative hawthorne or Crataegus spp. He's v. v. passionate, knows a lot and this video is like memorizing a monograph without even realizing that's what you're doing.
Is a gluten free diet right for you? Aviva Romm knocks one out of the park again, eloquently walking the sometimes fine line between conventional and complementary medicine by going deep into why a gluten free diet can be useful for some people and how to figure out if you're one of those people
- Here are three of the bajillion recipes I ogled this week and filed away to try:
- Finally these beautiful photos by Elena Shumilova were all over my Facebook this week. Here's a link in case you missed them.
Have a wonderful weekend my friends!
